And they\u2019re steps more familiar to an IT specialist than a data scientist.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, notebook deployment in the cloud requires:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowing software requirements of the cloud service<\/li>\n<li>Installing and optimally configuring a myriad of AI software and libraries<\/li>\n<li>Configuring and launching a Jupyter instance in the cloud<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In collaboration with Google Cloud, we\u2019re simplifying that to a single click through NVIDIA\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/ngc.nvidia.com\/catalog\">NGC catalog<\/a>, the one-stop shop for AI software, so data scientists can get started or scale their work quickly.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Leveraging the Power of Two<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>NGC will allow you to deploy content directly to Google\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/cloud.google.com\/vertex-ai\/docs\/workbench\">Vertex AI Workbench<\/a>, a new managed Jupyter Notebook service on top of Vertex AI, Google\u2019s service for machine-learning operations (<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.nvidia.com\/blog\/2020\/09\/03\/what-is-mlops\/\">MLOps<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Vertex AI Workbench is a data science environment that accelerates data engineering by deeply integrating with all of the services necessary to rapidly build and deploy models in production,\u201d said Craig Wiley, director of product management for cloud AI at Google Cloud.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe notebooks from NVIDIA\u2019s NGC Catalog will let data scientists start their model development on Google Cloud with a single click, speeding the path to building and deploying state of the art AI,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<h2><b>One Stop for AI Software<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Meanwhile, we\u2019re expanding the rich trove of NVIDIA AI software in NGC to ensure we have everything a data scientist needs to get started.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the frameworks, industry-specific SDKs and pre-trained models already in NGC, we\u2019re going to host <a href=\"http:\/\/developer.nvidia.com\/jupyter-notebooks\">Jupyter Notebooks<\/a> tailored for the most popular AI jobs. It\u2019s a grab-and-go selection to fuel data scientists on their AI journey.<\/p>\n<p>All of the AI models in NGC come with credentials. They\u2019re like resumes that show the model\u2019s skills, the dataset that trained it, how to use the model and how it\u2019s expected to perform.<\/p>\n<p>These model credentials provide transparency which gives you the confidence you\u2019re picking the right model for your use case.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, NGC now offers detailed security reports for our AI software packaged as containers. These specifics let users make informed decisions about the software they choose.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Various Roads to Enterprise AI<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/developer.nvidia.com\/one-click-deploy-notify-me-form\">Sign up<\/a> to find out when the one-click capability is launched early next year. It\u2019s one of many routes NVIDIA is paving to enterprise AI.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re also announcing expanded availability of NVIDIA LaunchPad at GTC this week.
