Chip Shot: Intel® System Studio Upgraded for Embedded Application and System Software Developers

Today, Intel released Intel® System Studio 2015, a major upgrade for Intel® Architecture-based embedded application and system software development. This upgrade helps developers improve system reliability and time-to-market with low-overhead trace for Intel® Core™ M processors and low-cost OpenOCD-based JTAG debug for lntel® Quark processors. This version adds two new target operating systems – Windows and Android Lollipop, including 64-bit support. Developers can enhance their productivity by taking advantage of the expanded integration into Eclipse, Wind River Workbench and Microsoft Visual Studio. Additionally, enhanced energy analysis plus compiler and performance library optimizations available in Intel System Studio 2015 help developers achieve better power efficiency along with application and system performance.
