Chip Shot: Intel Advances Open Hybrid Cloud, Accelerates Video Delivery
Intel and HP today announced their strategic technology collaboration on HP Helion OpenStack to advance its enterprise readiness with a focus on cloud availability, security and ease of deployment. Intel will also join the HP Helion Network as a key partner to create an enterprise-ready cloud ecosystem that enables workload portability across private cloud and multiple service providers. In addition, HP will use a future Intel® Xeon® E3 processor with integrated Intel Iris™ Pro graphics and on-package eDRAM memory for video transcoding as part of a future HP Moonshot cartridge.
